  3. Send the quoted ETH to the deposit address shown, leaving enough ETH in your wallet for gas.
  4. After the ETH deposit confirms (usually a few minutes), XMR is sent to you.
  5. XMR becomes spendable after 10 Monero confirmations (≈20 minutes).

Before you send

  • Gas is paid by you on the deposit; the payout side is included in the quote.
  • Don't send ETH from a smart-contract wallet unless the widget explicitly supports it — some swap deposits can't credit contract transfers.

Can I swap ETH on Arbitrum or Base directly?
Only if that network is offered in the widget's currency list. If not, bridge to Ethereum mainnet first — never send a layer-2 asset to a mainnet deposit address or vice versa.
How long does it take?
Typically 25–40 minutes end to end: a few minutes for the ETH deposit, then Monero's ≈20 minute spend lock on the payout.
