Bitcoin → Monero
Swap BTC to XMR
Send BTC from your own wallet and receive XMR at your Monero wallet. No account and no balance held by a website — the swap runs through StealthEX, an instant non-custodial exchange.
Rates, minimums and network fees are shown live in the widget before you send. Pick BTC → XMR if it isn't preselected.
Why swap Bitcoin to Monero?
Swapping BTC to XMR is the most common way to acquire Monero, since many large exchanges have delisted it. Holding XMR gives you a private balance that isn't publicly linked on-chain.
How the BTC → XMR swap works
- Enter the BTC amount and paste your Monero address. A standard address starts with
4; a subaddress starts with8— using a fresh subaddress for each swap is good practice and needs no payment ID. - Optionally add a Bitcoin refund address.
- Send exactly the quoted BTC to the deposit address shown. Use a normal fee — a stuck low-fee transaction delays the swap.
- Once your BTC deposit confirms, XMR is sent to your wallet.
- Your Monero wallet shows the incoming XMR; it becomes spendable after 10 confirmations (≈20 minutes).
Before you send
- Make sure your Monero wallet is fully synced before checking for the payment — an unsynced wallet simply won't show it yet.
- Don't send from an exchange account that forbids withdrawals to swap services; send from a wallet you control.
- Start with a small amount if it's your first swap, and keep the swap ID the widget gives you until the payout arrives.
